T-ball

Levi is playing t-ball this year and is on the Cubs just like his daddy was when he was little. He loves to bat but gets bored in the out field. He has games every Saturday and is always excited to go!

Brothers

Levi and Beau still have a long way to go to forming a close brother relationship. They seem to fight over things a lot and yell at each other. Levi is learning how to be a good big brother and shares pretty well with him. The biggest problem is that Beau wants everything Levi has a wont back down. I hope their relationship gets better as Beau gets older.

Swim

After a drowning scare last summer we put him in lessons and stopped using his floatie. Levi goes swimming at his grandparents two days a week after pre-school. He can swim the whole length of the pool by himself. He loves to dive down and get toys on the bottom of the shallow end. We are so proud of his progress and are so grateful to his Nanny for swimming with him so much. Beau has to be watched at all times around the pool because he think he can swim and goes right in. He kicks his feet and paddles with his hands already. He loves to put his face in the water and blow bubbles.

The Park

Nanny came along with us on a walk to our favorite park down the street. Levi wanted to wear his Superhero cape and tried to push the stroller all the way. That lasted about a minute but I like his effort. It is so nice to have a park we can walk to. Although, they are usually so tired by the time that we leave that I have to push them both home in the stroller.

Union Picnic

We had fun at Daddy's union picnic at Rancho Yurupa Park this year. Levi won a prize in the kids raffle. We ate lots of food and Levi finally tried cotton candy which ended up in the trash after two bites. Daddy lost at horse shoes once again. The boys got balloon animals and they all ended up popping after a few minutes.

Camping in Idyllwild

As a family we went camping in Idyllwild when Daddy didn't have work one week. There were too many hills to ride bikes but they had a fun community facility we went to alot and a little park. We went on a nature walk and Levi loved seeing all the squirrels and big trees. Beau mostly enjoyed playing in the dirt as usual.

16 Months

Beau doesn't say much mostly: balloon(baoon), mama, dada, and pwaaa(whatever that means). He yells "Ma", like an angry Italian over and over again. He loves to cuddle and hug the dogs. If his big brother is mean to him he will scream at him at the top of his lungs and doesn't back down. Beau loves climbing on things, even when it isn't safe. He has the fattest little Flintstones feet!
