Mammoth Family Vacation 2011

Pops Tom and Gramma got a vacation house for a week in Mammoth CA. It was a five and a half hour drive but I was a trooper because mommy entertained me with books and toys the whole way there and back. We went to the lake and played and fed the duckies. I went in a backpack on daddy's back to hike to Devil's Postpile and Rainbow Falls. I was so impressed by the waterfall that my jaw dropped and I stared at it for a long time. The whole family went to an old ghost town called Bodey, there were so many different things to see and play with! We also went on a hike around a lake and I took my first boat ride on the water taxi and Brady got to drive it! We took a bus to the Gondola and I got to play in the snow for the first time at the top. I had so much fun going on vacation with my family and playing with my cousins everyday, I love them so much!

Sixteen Months

Sixteen months has been a lot of fun, I am getting so big! I like to spend the night at Nana and Grampy's house to give mommy and daddy some alone time. I love motorcycles, I get excited when I see them and go vrum vrum! Mommy tells me "no", hit, pinch, bite, and throw. I am testing my boundaries and I get too rough with my cousins and doggy friends. Boys will be boys!

Fifteen Months

Fifteen months was super great! I learned how to communicate through words and signs this month. Besides Mama and Dada, I can say ByeBye now. I can sign: all done, more, and milk. I love to dance and nod my head! My new wagon is awesome, I put my drink in the cupholder and enjoy being pulled around in it. It is not always a fun ride for mommy when she has to pull me up hills in it though. I am a rough boy, I get excited and pull hair and gouge eyes, once again, not so much fun for mommy. I also enjoy going to the library every Friday for arts and crafts with my cousins.

Oceanside

Grandpa and Grandma Maze got a vacation beach house in Oceanside at the beginning of August. Auntie Amber visited half of the time and she brought a bear she made for me, his name is Teddy! Daddy was not able to come very long because Kodiak ate a corn cob and had to have surgery. We went to Sea World on Wednesday and saw the Shamu show and went to Sesame Street Splash Park. I loved my first roller coaster ride which was just like the Dumbo ride! I spent the week on the beach playing in the sand and with little rocks. I did not like the waves of the ocean so mainly stayed ashore. What a fun time!

Bicycle and Slumber Party

We got a carrier for Levi so he can go on a bike ride with us when we go to the beach! He loves his new carrier, Grandma Diana came out on Friday and we took turns taking him on rides! That night Grandma Diana took Levi home for his first over nighter at someone else's house, all by himself! He did great, he went right to sleep in the pack n play and slept till 8, what a good boy! I will not lie, I missed him alot, even with his recent whining and clinginess due to teething!

Swim Lesson

Levi and Rylan completed their first swim lesson course today, it was four weeks long. Levi hated the lessons for the first few weeks and I just about gave up. Luckily, he started doing much better and is starting to enjoy the water. I hope he will love swimming one day! The first picture is on the way to swim lessons and the second is right before swim lessons, they were not happy about us trying to take pictures during swim time!

Happy 4th of July

Fourth of July weekend was very busy! Kellen's first birthday was on Saturday. It was Aunt Alicia's birthday on Sunday so I got to go over there and hang out with my cousins! On the Fourth of July we went to Great Aunt Tanya's house to go swimming and watch fireworks! The fireworks were cool and a bit loud!
