9 Months(36 Weeks)

I am now in my last month, yay. Which means that I am starting to have doctor appointments every week. I had an appointment today and my nurse practitioner said everything looks great. He is head first and has a great heartbeat! She thinks he probably weighs around five pounds.
We are trying to get ready for baby Levi's arrival by preparing his clothes and taking classes. I washed all of Levi's newborn and 0-3 months clothes and put them away in the closet. Amber and I attended a birthing class last week and learned about breathing techniques and hospital procedure. Next, we need to pack our hospital bags and pray that we don't have to share a room in recovery! Here is a 9 month belly picture:

My Baby Shower

My baby shower went off without a hitch on the stormy day of February 27th 2010. Tons of people came and we received plenty of presents for baby Levi. Amber did a great job organizing the event and decorated our place really nice! My mom bought a adorable Safari cake from a bakery, it was delicious. My mother-in law Lynette, picked up some really good subs from Delia's Grinders in Riverside. I was so pleased with my Baby Shower and so grateful for everyone who fought the rainy weather to come! Troy tried so hard to get the wood floors ready for the baby shower and threw out his back on Valentine's Day, poor guy:(

Thirty Weeks

I am officially 30 weeks, which means I only have ten weeks left. I had a doctors appointment this week in which I had a glucose test. They make you drink a nasty sugar drink disguised as orange soda. Then a hour later they take your blood to see how your body reacts to the sugar. The good news is, I am not diabetic. The bad news, I am anemic and I need to take iron pills. I was also told that I gained too much weight in one month and to lay off the hoho's and bon bon's. They sure know how to make a pregnant woman feel good about their bodies!

Here is a 30 week belly picture! Levi is very active and instead of little baby kicks I get full elbows and knees. Thanks to the help of Auntie Amber the baby shower invitations were sent out this week, they are the same theme as the nursery!

Christmas and Twenty Five Weeks

Christmas was alot of fun this year, busy of course but fun. Once twenty weeks passed my belly started growing pretty fast. My nurse practitioner said that all my labs came back normal and that my belly is measuring normal as well. Since Levi is not here to get pictures done I took Kodiak to get her pictures done at Petco. We received alot of gifts for Levi this Christmas: clothes, toys, bouncer, and first tub! We are just so excited to meet our little guy!

Nursery Theme

My mom bought me Levi's bed set for my birthday in November, it is super cute! His nursery theme is going to be African animals such as: elephants and zebra's. By the way this is not our nursery, we haven't started ours yet.

Twenty Weeks

I am twenty weeks pregnant and we just had an ultrasound confirming that our baby is for sure a boy! So his official name is Levi. My mom and Troy came with me to the ultrasound, it is so neat to see him opening and closing his mouth and seeing his fingers and toes! It is not until now that I can finally feel the baby kicking, it is a awesome feeling. Here is a belly picture and profile picture of Levi from the ultrasound.

Take home outfit

We bought a outfit to bring our baby home from the hospital in! It is pretty small so hopefully he or she wont be a big baby.
