Camping at Prado Lake

We took the trailer to Prado Lake for three days and had a great time. Lots of flying kites, riding bikes and making smores. Troy caught a big Trout and Levi got to help reel it in. Nanny and Paukie came for the day and Nanny ate the whole fish for dinner. Cousin Roni came for a camping sleepover and Levi was so happy. Levi practiced riding his bike without training wheels and I taught him the proper way to roll down a hill. A lot of work camping with little ones but their memories of camping are worth it.

Levi turns Five!

Levi turned five and it is so hard to believe how fast time has gone! I am excited when he crawls into bed with us in the early morning and cuddles with me in the morning. Before I know it he will be too big for cuddles or needing us when he is scared. Levi knows his letters and most of their sounds. He loves to watch Caillou and it seems to spark a lot of curiosity in him. After he watches the show he asks questions and wants to do things that he does in the show, like play with clay. He loves to play Lego Batman with his Uncle Travis. Levi is playing t-ball and we haven't been able to decide if he has a preference for batting on his left or right side. One of the things he likes about t-ball is the opportunity to rough house with his friend Tripp at practice. He has become very nurturing and asks me if I need anything or stops me to say he loves me on regular basis. His best friend is Madden and they seem to be drawn to eachother because of their enjoyment of super heroes and their similar mild temperament. His teachers rave about how well behaved he is at school and how he is ready for kindergarten.

Easter Day

Easter Day was spent at my Mother and Father in Laws. We had an Easter egg hunt and then had a yummy lamb dinner. We all sang Happy Birthday to Levi at dessert time and he was so excited! Then Levi got to have a birthday slumber party with his cousin Brady at his grandparents house. The next day they went to Color me Mine and painted piggy banks for Levi's birthday.

Making Easter Eggs

Making Easter eggs was a lot of fun! Levi enjoyed dipping all of the eggs in dye. Beau mostly threw the eggs in each color and nearly broke a lot of them. Beau loved to put the silly stickers on each of the eggs.

Easter Bunny!

Levi was very excited to see the Easter bunny and told her that he wanted a chocolate bunny for Easter. Beau enjoyed giving the bunny high fives and soft pets. Then when it came to picture time Beau froze and refused to smile. He does not like to take pictures, especially if there is a stranger on the other end of the camera.

Levi's t-ball

Levi is almost five and loves t-ball now! He tries really hard to catch the ball when he is outfield. Levi enjoys going and has a lot of fun at practices and games. He is on the same team as Tripp and Beckett this year. Beau wants to be like his big brother and tries to hit the ball off the t at practice.
